Community Resources

In 2019, the Protecting Immigrant Families (PIF) Campaign is dedicated to providing more community-facing materials on public charge to help better equip immigrants with what they need to know to make the best decision for themselves and for their families.

Reuters reported on May 3 that the Trump Administration is preparing regulations that would allow the government to deport lawful permanent residents and other immigrants if they utilize any of an array of public programs aimed at reducing illness, hunger, and poverty.
